The secret of high precision CNC press brake

CNC press brake in the field of modern metal processing, with its high degree of automation and precise control system, has brought great convenience and benefits to the manufacturing industry. Therefore, in order to ensure the high precision and consistency of the CNC press brake in the processing process, the maintenance of accuracy and regular calibration are particularly important.

 

CNC press brake accuracy:

The reason why CNC press brakes can achieve high precision metal bending is precisely controlled by a number of factors, such as:

1. Positioning accuracy: the positioning accuracy of the upper die and the lower die of the CNC press brake is one of the key factors affecting the processing results. Through the precise mechanical structure and control system, the CNC system can accurately control the position of the mold, thus achieving precise bending angles and dimensions.

2. Angle control: In the CNC press brake, Angle control is very important, especially for the workpiece that requires precise Angle. The CNC system is able to control the motion of the upper and lower die, ensuring that the desired Angle error is within an acceptable range, usually within a few tenths of a degree of Angle error.

3. Return accuracy: In the process of multiple bending, the return accuracy of the CNC press brake directly affects whether the workpiece can maintain the same shape and size. High return accuracy ensures that the workpiece remains consistent through multiple bends.

4. Material properties: The elastic and plastic properties of different materials will affect the deformation during bending, thus affecting the processing results. The CNC system requires parameter adjustment according to different material characteristics to achieve the desired machining effect.

 

How to calibrate a CNC bender?

In order to ensure that CNC press brakes always maintain high precision machining quality, regular calibration is essential.

1. Calibrate the upper and lower die: Ensure that the geometry of the upper and lower die is accurate and that they are properly aligned with the back stop. This can be achieved through the use of precision measuring tools and equipment.

2. Check sensors and encoders: Sensors and encoders are used to measure position and Angle. These sensors are checked and calibrated regularly to ensure their accuracy and consistency.

3. Calibration Angle: Use precision Angle measuring equipment to calibrate the Angle measurement of the CNC system to ensure its accurate output.

4. Check the hydraulic system: the pressure and flow of the hydraulic system directly affect the bending force and speed. Check the hydraulic system regularly to ensure that it provides a stable force during bending.

5. Software calibration: Calibrate the CNC control software, including the program, parameters and motion path, to ensure that it matches the actual workpiece.

6. Regular maintenance: Regular inspection and maintenance of the various parts of the CNC press brake, including lubrication, cleaning and replacement of worn parts, to keep them in good condition.
